Heres a question.. Is anyone running 40 series tires in the front and back? I love the swifts but I just want to reduce a bit of the wheel gap all around. I fell like 40 series tires would have no wheel gap front and back, but I don't want to mess with the dimensions too bad.

Does anyone know who has the swift springs in stock? I don't like to pay of parts and wait for them to "arrive". Some many vendors too little time to call em all. Just asking.

Here are some photos that were taken yesterday at a local shop BBQ/Meet. Photos start on post#7.
The PG had about 50 miles on Swift springs the Red had 25 miles, still settling, fronts are at 26.75" from ground to top of fender with a 1.25" gap from top of tire to fender. They still need to settle. But here they are with 20mm & 25 mm spacers rolling on stock tires 245/40/19 & 275/35/19. ![]() The swift spings themselves are an excellent ride. Not harsh at all and VERY planted in the corners. Huge upgrade from stock. I'm glad I invested the extra cash in these over the cheaper H&R. |

G/L on solving the creaking sound. Let us know if it was the rear brace. I agree the ride is so smooth and I am running on bald tires that where finding every irregularity grooves in the pavement and pulling the car to one side. I know it's because of the bald tires, but these Swift springs took care of the irregularities and now" look mom, no hands". In the turns on tight U shaped on ramps the car just plants itself lower and lower the more I gas it thru the turn. I have yet to take it on some fast switch backs, those will have to wait until my new RE-11's are installed this weekend and scrubbed in. The Eibachs are really good springs and do the job well, but if you have the extra $$ and do not mind the lower drop in the front, then Swift fits the bill and more. |

Had my alignment done today after the springs settled. I am running H&R spacers 15mm/20mm as well. Here are the results... feel free to chime in!

Not bad, I take it your are NOT running any camber arms with toe bolt in the rear, nor upper control arms in the front?
The front right is way out of spec at -1.9 (when OEM is -1.4). I would have had the left front a bit closer to the right if that is all you could muster out of the camber. Not bad, I am hoping for a more on the max side for the fronts to be at -1.4. It may not be obtainable without upper control arms. If that is the case then you can figure more tire wear running at anything greater than -1.4. My fingers are crossed, that I can muster more out of the fronts. I am not worried at all on the rears since I have rear camber arms and toe bolts. |
