Swift springs review!!!!!

I have the FI exhaust and Swift and have only scraped one time in over 2 years. Took a speed bump on angle and touched one can, its fine barely

spacer size will depend on what wheels u are running. if factory, then 20's all around should be ok. swift springs definately not give u a crappy saggy spring look. in orger to not scrape u will jsut have to be aware of potholes, and entrances. take angles, and go slow.

u will deifnately need an alignment. with swifts the front camber can remain just in spec. while the rear will be JUST outside of factory spec. not enough to make a big difference on tire wear


here's a pic of the stance of my car with jsut swifts.



as u can see, its not like they "slam" your car or anything. just give you a nice mild drop to take out some wheel gap.

also, as i'm sure many can atest too, your car will be much less twitchy under mid corner bumps with these springs.

Once dropped on Swifts how do you guys deal with the small plastic air dams that are right in front of the front wheels?

It seems these little plastic pieces scrape everything even at stock height?

I appreciate your feedback.

I took mine off. They also scraped going up the rhino ramps I use. They've been sitting in my garage for 1.5 years!

I understand their purpose, but I haven't noticed any ill effects at highway speed without them.

Look up Bernoulli's principle and aircraft flight dynamics. Its the exact same idea.

Essentially, lift can be generated at high speeds by creating an area of relative high pressure under the chassis.

The chin spoiler and little air dams serve to redirect the flow somewhat to negate this effect I believe.

Question.. I was thinking about getting the HR springs because it seemed like they had more of a drop, but I was comparting the specs to the swifts and it says that they are the same? It also seems like the swift are better performance wise. Any thoughts?

Function over fashion for me. I got the Swifts for the performance.

All depends on what you want. If it's just a drop you want, you can save a few $$$. I wanted performance not a drop, but it came with the performance so it stays

Well I definatly dont mind the performance gain, the more I read this thread it seems like swifts are the way to go
