:tup:Looks nice Red_Zed, did all four corners settle? With that drop even the base rims look good.

I actually love the look of the base rims. I ran the sport rims for a while, but prefer the base. If only they were wider.... |
Yeh I just updated my post a few back with no change after a few miles with someone sitting in tha passenger seat. Mile miles I guess to see how the settle.
Time for some spacers until you can go for new rims. I actually felt that quicker response and not so much understeer as you described in your review. The camber setup can play a role as I am finding with two cars identically setup. One is slugglish on steering repsponse and it's the car with camber being off. It just did not have the flick to the left flick to the right type of response. So off to the alignment shop again. |

To be honest, I don't really want to run spacer with our stock hub centric wheels. Too much risk. I am hoping the car settles level. It's not been uncommon to see the passenger side take a month to settle down. |
Nice photos!

swift springs aside from lowering the car ( which is a plus) will there be any handling improvement on a nismo? this car handles in the turns I can't see that it would be that much better or are there other benifits I'm just not seeing.thanks

[QUOTE=ZForce;1078108]I very rarely ever post pics. So here are some initial pics, springs had only been on for 1 day with 50 miles on them.
My setup as follows: Sport rims rolling on stock size tires Fr 245/40/19 & Rr 275/35/19 with wheel spacers @ 20mm Fr & 25mm Rr on Swift springs. Unsettled springs at 26.75" Fr & 27.00" Rr (measured from ground to fender). Looks Great! I have coilovers and the same spacers. I am way to dropped I suppose I'm sitting at 25 13/16 front and 26 6/10 in the rear. My front's rub on the plastic fender knob. Do you experience any of this rubbing with spacers? If not I'm raising this car to this height. |

Quick question for long time users of Swift Springs: have they caused any creaks or rattles in the car? I love how well built the 370Z and how solid it sounds going over imperfections in the road (the 350Z always felt like it was going to break something and eventually developed more rattles than I cared to listen to).
I just want to make sure I won't develop random rattles everywhere from a slightly lower suspension. |
I have had them on my car for 6 months now and they have not stepped a foot wrong the whole time. I have tested them in every condition I have met from pot holed LA streets to fast canyon driving and love them just the same. I have something rattling in my homelink mirror but that started due to my last exhaust droning and resonating the crap out of the car haha. That is not an uncommon problem though, just have to open the mirror at some point.

Gotcha. I go to LA pretty often, so your testament is pretty reassuring. Thanks!
