Swift made it very clear that the performance was the over-riding factor in the design, not the drop. That is the combination of style vs performance I want in a lowered car. I have seen cars on TEINs that looked great parked, but drove like crap....

That was the reason i chose Swift... I want more performance than and look... and i see a few pics of the Z's dropped on Swift and i love how it looks...

Should I be concerned about rubbing?

I'm on swifts, stock camber running 19x9.5+20--255/35/19 & 19x10.5+0--295/30/19 no rubbing and I will go 265/35--305/30 next time I get tires.

Were you able to achieve the correct toe settings with or without aftermarket toe bolts?

KaienZ34 03-11-2014 12:43 PM

I didn't install them, the shop said it was fine but I need to go somewhere else and make sure. No real good shops around here at all, i'll have to go out of town and have it redone in the near future.

I have a real hard time with people saying they can get toe in line with spec with Swifts... That much geometry change will induce toe outside of the spec adjustment of the stock parts. YOU NEED TOE BOLTS! (and camber arms if you want to save your tires)

KaienZ34 03-11-2014 01:24 PM

I never said I did, just what the shop told me. I do have spl rear camber arms installed and I have toe bolts just not installed. I've only put about 100 miles on the car since, when i get coils and front camber arms i'll have the bolts installed and get everything realigned.

^ good idea! The SPL camber arms are the best and the toe bolts will get you back to zero toe. You should feel the car acting a little squirrely in the back end without toe correction. A tendency to wander or shift harshly...
The real issue is tire wear though. Toe will eat a tire in no time at all....

KaienZ34 03-11-2014 01:30 PM

The car feels fine, but looking at the tires from above the toe surely looks off.
