lol. SPL are nicer for sure. But alas, most of us have the SPC due to cost. But SPL are better!

Sent from Canadia

I understand cost but SPC snap which means your life possibly. Id find the few extra dollars to be safe!

For tracking, SPL rear camber arms and toe bolts. Toe bolts are $25 so no reason not to get them.

The reason not to get them is an eccentric bolt can slip and lose all alignment on the track. You're better off to get or make your own eccentric lockout kit like I did and get traction arms to adjust toe and camber arms for camber.

My swift drop looks a lot lower than yours. But maybe it's the spacers that make the big difference.

I don't see how spacers would affect ride height. Are you running OEM wheels? if you are, perhaps the sunken wheel setup gives the illusion of being lower because of the shadow the fenders and quarter panel cast on the wheels.

I was wondering the same thing...

Is there a certain amount of toe to not go over when adjusting toe via the traction arms, since traction arms also effect bumpsteer. I've read that ideally you want to adjust the toe via the midlink but..to do so without eccentric bolts then you have to either go a true coilover setup or buy SPL's 700-800 mid links.

If any of the track gurus could chime in on this too

That I don't know. Guess I'll have to see when I align.

I just looked at some alignment sheets, I don't even see bumpsteer on there. Is it just a feeling when on the track? Every bump changes the severity of steer depending how much you effect it with certain parts, ride height etc?

Yea bumpsteer is how much the compression causes the wheels to toe while cornering, not much of an issue during street driving. I found an old thread with other members discussing it, it causes the rather unsettling "floating" feeling and the rear end feels unstable. I felt it at Big Willow and it was pretty sketchy, I'm fairly sure in my case it's mostly because of my alignment not being optimal.

I feel it now stock. Very scary. I figure change all bushings to solid from spl, plus arms etc, I have a lockout out kit for the toe bolts and camber bolt and I shouldn't have any bumpsteer.

I got these springs installed and aligned on Monday and I absolutely love them, but I have question for anyone who has these springs and a Fast Intentions CBE, do you ever scrape or hit the exhaust on anything?

If you are lowered, eventually you will scrape something somewhere... Live with it.
