Default Freshly installed - H&R Springs + 25mm/20mm Ichiba spacers.

Ok so i just installed the items mentioned in the title of this post and i don't know if it's just me, but it seems there is a little vibration while driving. Will an alignment fix that? (If there even is a "that")

I think i might just be feeling things, but im not sure. Wanted to see if someone else had a familiar experience with a drop and spacers.

Also, the little 12mm bolt that is on the front rotors; what exactly is that for?? I had to remove it to put the spacers on.

Might i also mention, H&R springs with 25mm rear and 20mm front Ichiba V2 spacers looks AMAAZZING! I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Reading on a G35 forum, that's supposedly there to keep you from installing your rear wheel on the front hub. I'm trying to think if the pockets in the wheels have different depths or something, but I dunno.

You should feel no vibrations. If you find a smooth stretch of highway and take both hands off the wheel it should not move at all. Did you torque the nuts in a star like pattern? Things may get better after an alignment.

Yeah ill find a nice smooth road tomorrow and see what happens.

I torqued everything in a star pattern, used lock-tite on the spacer studs etc. Everything was done by the book. I think ill get an alignment just to be on the safe side just in case the tow got thrown out of wack.

Although, i think it's just me being paranoid.

Makes sense... good lookin out. There's probably a little notch on the front wheels that allows that little stud to fit in there now that i think of it.

i had vibrations with my ichibas. then bought h&r's and still have a little between 70 and 80. I don't know why some people get vibrations and some don't.

Same here, it was pure luck that I found the answer while searching. I noticed the things when we pulled the wheels off to get powder coated and I thought it was actually part of the rotor, but it's just a spacer and a bolt, luckily

Just wondering, but when you installed the spacers, did you make sure the studs were tightened enough? One main thing that would make sense that some would have the issue and others wouldnt would be the installation. I am not saying you did it wrong, just saying its probably part of it.

Yeah, i tightened the **** out of the spacers. As much as i could with a lug wrench. Should i torque them to a certain amount of ftlb's? They where tight enough to were they would make that pop sound that is made when you tighten the dog piss out of a bolt.

When you drop the car, alignment is off. You know that right? It takes at least 300kms for the springs to settle before you do alignment. even after that, your springs might settle more. Some guys here noticed his car dropped after 2500kms.
also for ur spacers
is it hubcentric with 66.1?
hope that helps.
