Default This just in.....

I just received a message from the sales rep that I have been communicating with. With permission, I am posting the body of the message:

"Hi Russ,

We have done a ton of testing on the 370Z and have made several prototype sets to finally get them made the way we felt was perfect. There are many springs out on the market already that drops the Z a good amount, this is the reason why we are only releasing the Spec R's. The Spec R's are performance springs in which we try our best to squeeze out as much performance we can with just the springs. There are many factors that we look at when we make the Spec R springs, the valving of the shock, the useable stroke of the shock, the suspension design, and the chassis balance.

With the help of several 370Z tuners in Japan which is where most of the racing circuit testing was done, as well as figuring out a stance in which the drop would be perfect and even. We have brought over several prototypes here to test the comfort levels of driving here in the states, From what we have heard and felt ourselves it is indeed more compliant than stock.

These springs can be used on both the Nismo and normal 370Z both with a good amount of performance increases. These springs were designed around the valving of the regular Z. We have found that the valving for this vehicle is fairly aggressive and so we were able to substantially increase the rates.
Thus making it a performance upgrade for the Nismo as well.

As for the price they are priced higher than other brands, we are targeting the people with performance in mind, as we do not feel that these are simple lowering springs.
We have set the MSRP for these at $419 for the 370Z Spec R springs. From what we noticed the selling price is cheaper and can be checked out with your local dealer when they are released.

We appreciate your interest in the Swift product And if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Best Regards,"
