350z-370z BBK interchangeability

Is there a FAQ somewhere as I know that looking up listings for 6 pots on 350z cars dont match the 370z for AP brakes, but wonder about other makes.

Default 350z-370z BBK interchangeability

Looking to see if used or for sale brakes on 350z forums would work on my 09 Sport.

Also, since the 350z Brembos seem to be good brakes too, is it a step down from the Sport brakes on the 370z?

The two versions of AP Racing 6-piston kits share many components, but they are not 100% interchangeable. The current rear kits fit both models, but older ones will need some modification if used on the 370Z/G37. I do not believe the Brembo Track Model front brakes will fit the 370, nor is there a safe and easy mod to make it work.

I was thinking that the difference for the cars are the size of the rotors and that maybe the calipers would be the same size..

I do see a lot of private classifieds on 350 forums selling 6 pot BBKs, and one can save some money...

At first, many thought the rear's were interchangeable. They physically bolt on, but the pad alignment is not correct. I would recommend purchasing kits specfically for the 370Z, as the 350Z kits are close but not perfect.

Ah,..shame,..

Just one of those things former Subie people could do was swap Front Brembos from 04 STIs to up to 08 cars...

too bad...

not a good idea. save a bucks with potential brake failure down the road. PM me if youre looking for an affordable BBK setup, that is surprisingly inexpensive for a new setup.

plus, isnt the offset on the rear rotors different between z33 and z34?
