I'm very happy with my posiquiet pads, but I switched to them as part of the akebino caliper swap, so my opinion is probably useless for you lol.

I have never used them. I am totally happy running Carbotech XP8's all around. They are dusty but I don't care. I like stopping. When you get them hot, they will talk to you just like any other race pad.

I run XP10's upfront and XP8's in the rear. They bite very very hard. I love 'em (once they get some heat in them).

The Posiquiet brake pads were one of the first brake pads I ran coming from the Genuine Nissan OEM brake pads they are a excellent choice for any street driven Z or G as they produce low dust, are quiet for street duty, are superior for a street oriented brake pad when you heat them up they do great in high temperature brake fade, pad life overall is long when comparing to other similar brake pads, and these pads actually help conserve rotor life. The only other brake pad that I can comment on of being somewhat close to the Posiquiet pads are the Nismo brake pads. Are you considering doing any track days? The Carbotech brake pads are a great choice. I am currently using the Endless MX72plus brake pads.

You should try them with the RacingBrake 2 piece rotors.

I found the posiquiets to be very comparable in performance to OEM. The posiquiets definitely dust more

If I were still daily driving the Z, I'd probably switch back to OEM pads to help with the dust. Got Carbotech XPs on there now.

What was the benefit of this brand Vs a 2 piece Z1 setup? Are they better? The pricing seems to be higher for the fronts and rears.

Thanks!

Different type of cast iron. Plus they are thicker.

Hold on, I thought RB doesn’t work well with Carbotech....I think it was RN Shark that had issue with that combo (XP pads with RB front 2 pc).

I read that too, was wondering why. My work great together. Have a slow speed squeak. The braking power and modulation is great. I can splatter your eyeballs on the windshield.
