Default Wheel alignment and pulling while braking

I recently purchased a certified used 17 nismo with ~8500 (carfax stated it was a fleet vehicle :/)

I noticed i have to hold the wheel to the left to keep the car straight and if i center the wheel to the center it pulls to the right...the local mechanic said the alignment was fine and ended up cross rotating my front tires but the issue still persists. Additionally, the car seems to pull sometimes left or right on somewhat hard braking.

Any ideas what parts to inspect or what might be causing it? I presume it needs an alignment anyway but will this resolve the brake pull?

I could be wrong, but it looks like you have toe out at the rear, not toe in, and that will make the car nervous which is what you are describing (is steering from the rear)

Try another alignment shop if I am right.

Anyone else ??

Other than the rear camber being too negative, nothing is unusual. The toe setting will change with camber adjustment, so finding a competent mechanic that wont flip out when this happens is important. I'm not going to advertise spending money on adjustable control arms.

Unfortunately steering wandering under braking and cruising is just a nature of the car do to the low caster and anti-dive design. Increasing Toe-in on the rear will help marginally.

Keeping some additional weight in the rear should help a bit too. Just depends if you want the weight penalty.

while the alignment is within spec, I would much prefer to have the same settings for both sides. The toe setting is quite different. Also ensure that the steering wheel is dead center before the adjustment.

R/R too is more than L/R, causing the rear to go left on a straight away-thus pushing the front to the right (causing you to hold tension to left to keep straight).
Even though it's lit up green; the R/R is causing your mis-aligned steering wheel.
Be prepared for them to do it again...they should have noticed your camber in the red on L/R....if they start by adjusting your camber on L/R to match the R/R,,, this will also turn your left rear inward (more positive toe) like the right side.
As one adjustment affects the other.
Rear should be dang near same on both sides & also the front....but they need to start over & do it again....many different reasons can cause brakes to pull/ but definitely alignment is off.

I'd have things set at nominal ranges; pending on what your plans are for the car.

I'm also surprised that caster is that low; especially on a Nismo....non adjustable unless you get from upper control arms (fuca's).
More caster will make turning a bit firmer & steering wheel will follow back up quicker.
Track cars dial there's up pretty high.

One last thing to add.....Those "Red" illuminated settings; are an indication something is not within specs.
This should have been seen & repaired,,,he may not be familiar with adjusting the eccentrics on rear,,,I agree w/BGTV8 & take to another shop...then get a re-fund (if you paid for this one)

Here... use the non-sucky alignment thread i made here.

Your toe should be the same side to side but not front to back.

^^^ That is much better. It was whacked before. It does still have a little too much toe in for the front. .08 toe in for the front would be better.
