Default True coilovers with oem midlink?

When switching to true coilovers is it possible to retain the oem midlink or do you have to change to an aftermarket toe arm at the same time?

This would be temporary until the car goes in for alignment and toe arm install.
Are there people that buy true rear coilovers and never buy a replacement toe arm?

Thanks!

Ps. I did search but there wasn't a definitive answer.

EDIT: Continued search gave me my answer: yes, you can just leave the oem springbucket empty when installing true rear coilovers
