Brake caliper for 18" OEM's?
I have 19"s for the summer and 18's for winter and the track. So I'd really like to keep clearance for the OEM 18's.
Is there a caliper upgrade from the Akebono... which would have an effect on the track? I have Stillen brake cooling ducts - and - 2-piece rotors

my stoptech trophy brakes fit under 18s just fine and are a huge upgrade.

If you go with StopTech just remember to get the 14" rotors like mine and you should be good to go. I got the 14" rotor so that I could run 18" rims for track purposes later. StopTech 4P Front & Rear BKK Install

Yeah that's what i'm worried about.
I'd like NOT to have to buy new rotors along with my upgraded calipers. Because at that point, it's just a BBKit.

I feel ya on that one. I've always tried to avoid incremental mods and go for the final mod in the hopes in avoiding situations like this. Hasn't always worked. In the end it might be easier to with a BBK than trying to upgrade what you have. You could always sell your DBA-5000 rotors.

if you go stoptech, I would go with the 14" rotor kit in front. thats what I have, and what you would need for 18" wheels anyway
