When it comes to technology Brembo and AP are without a doubt the gold standard.

However, just because the ultimate amount of technology it doesn't mean that they are the best for every application. Remember, Doran Racing 370Z went from Brembo to Stoptech calipers. I am sure it has nothing to do with the quality of the Brembo caliper but rather the stoptech offered something the Brembo units did not. (I imagine its a better Brake Bias)

Brembo, Endless, AP, those guys have no need to hand out free product because the best teams in the world already demand their product. But those are the market leaders and they have been around for a long time. It's just like SPL doesn't give away didly squat, they don't need to sponsor anyone, if you want the best you pretty much have to buy SPL-or make your own.
