I originally bought a set from Z1, but then I did some reading about the issues people had with them and a CF hood. I sold them. Sure I would like a set though, but that may be something I have to have a shop tinker with to make sure it doesn't cause any problems with the hood.

Ok wasnt sure how they would work i know my buddy has a set that kelly fields makes on here and his take off like a rocket so i dont think his would work but mine are also from kelly fields but i think mine may actually work because they lift extremely slow and easy

Can someone who owns this hood please explain how they managed to get the locking hood latches installed? The holes in my aerojacket hood were completely different thread type than the latches and I couldn't install them. Had to put my stock hood back on, really frustrated :\

be prepared to drill/tap the holes yourself, for some insane reason the pre-drilled/tapped holes they provide are the incorrect size. I don't really full comfortable with how loose the hood latches fit in the holes now so I'm going to attempt to secure it from inside the hood with a nut/washer on the back side if possible, if not I'm going to ditch the stock latches and install a set of aerocatch.

Also if you do any kind of high speed runs (130+ mph) be prepared for a scary amount of hood flex/shaking near the windshield/cowl.
