It happens on some I guess. Our test Z didn't experience it.
It's usually caused by a little current that flows when the lights are off. The stock bulbs aren't as sensitive as leds so they don't light up. The trunk led replacement bulbs are only sold for the led color really. You're not going get any brighter with the single led bulb. I recently had a smaller led pod tested for the trunk that's a tad brighter than the single bulb. I'm not sure if I will offer than one or not yet.
