Do you have any pics of Flat black housing with Gloss black projector/turn signal shroud painted?
I assume its fairly hard to tell the difference in the blacks off each other but was just curious... :)

Bullit, do you mind posting your colors? Is that PW on the main housing, and black on the landing strip and outer reflector?

I would like to get mine done just like this, but in matte black. Can I get a quote?

Looks nice!

Sorry guys, we have been going through some changes. The inbox has been cleared up, please send your PMs.

The website name has changed to ONEighty | NYC | Automotive Cosmeticians and I'm working on redirecting the old one to the new site.

Thanks

PM me your name and number. I will go through her notes and see if it's there and if anyone called you back. She always tells me when somebody calls and makes me call them back in front of her, and many times the person doesn't pick up or I get a voicemail.

I think this was an unnecessary post when I just posted a few hours before that our inbox was cleared up and you can send a message

Look I know its hard to read attitude with text online, but it seems like you have one with me. I know you guys are super busy (which is great) but it took multiple days between PM's for answers, I typed a very long PM back trying to get all the details correct and breakdown pricing because it was vague on your end. Thats when the box was full.

So I decided to call (left a message with details of our PM's) gave a couple days (because your busy) and no response. I noticed you posted here so I was trying to get your attention, looks like it worked. I didnt slam you in any way, nor did I intend to, I just wanted this to be noticed by you.

You guys do fantastic work and I want to use you again, but I the customer looking to spend upwards of 1k dollars for your services, should not have to bend over backwards to get ahold of you.

What is the turn around period when someone sends their headlights in to get worked on?:driving:

When I spoke with them last month they said two business days.

eliasarturo 08-13-2012 03:05 AM

Do you guys sale a controller for the headlights after you install the light modifications. Also, do you guys install "Demon Eyes"?

I don't have any attitude with you, why would I? And I answered exactly what you asked me in the PMs. If you wish to continue, just reply to my last PM please. Thank you

Depends on the job, most take 2-3 business days. Some jobs that are more complicated may take an extra day or two.

We usually hook up all the LEDs to the parking lights unless the customer wants a separate switch installed. We have not been doing the Demon-eyes for a while but recently started offering them again, and for those you must have a switch installed. Saw you sent us a pm, replying now...

XwChriswX 08-13-2012 05:09 PM

If someone wanted the Demon eyes, and the included switch, Is that something that you send as completed light assembly and a prewired switch we install? Or is it something that's built in to the assembly itself and is still plug/play?

What would the 'normal' switch look like that you use?

The demon-eye will have it's wires coming out separately from the headlight. They will need to be hooked up to a 12 volt source (battery or headlight harness) and a switch ran to the inside of the car that will bridge the connection. The demon-eye MUST be turned off while the HIDs are on, that's why we do this. All other LED mods are usually hooked up to the parking lights.

Here's what the switches usually look like, depends what the customer prefers but they are not even visible where we place them:

I'm getting some new better looking switches in the mail tomorrow. Then again, I rarely install switches.

Just had dual orbs on a separate switch done at the shop last Saturday. Alex was great, he hit me back with-in an hour of my inquiry email and I had an appointment set up. I'm very happy with the work, came to the shop at 11am and was on my way home by 4pm. Very clean install and a great shop. Ill be using them again!

So it is possible to have Demon eyes And LED Orbs installed correct?

CSA0890 08-23-2012 12:41 PM

You could always use a relay so that whenever the headlights are on the demon eyes are off and vice versa

Yes correct, but honestly the Orb rings overpower the Demon-eyes. The white LEDs are much brighter than the red LEDs inside the projector.

That is true, we have done so before. But we prefer to have independent control over the Demon-eyes, so they can be turned on at any time, without having to turn on the parking lights.

Ah, so you can have them installed at the same time, and they will be ON at the same time with the current installation method, or are they left with just exposed wires to be wired up separately...

(Sorry for all the ridiculous, and possibly already answered questions, just trying to make sure I understand having both installed correctly)

Lol it's all right...

All the LED mods we do are usually hooked up to the parking lights inside the headlight, so no extra wiring is needed. Just install the headlight, plug in the oem harness and you're good to go. For the demon-eye, I lead an exposed wire out the headlight... if the car is here, I install a switch in side the car, but if the headlight is being shipped out, the wiring is left for the customer to do on his own car

Awesome, thanks for the breakdown.

With the demoneye, is there only one type of LED you can use that's safe to fit in there, or can you use a different (brighter) bulb? (To work with the LED Orbs)

I really think the look of the demon eye is cool, but if it's not worth the hassle of the install for you guys, it could be left out.

Is this service still being provided? What's the turn around time once you receive the headlights? Please pm me with a phone number and more info. Thanks.

What a great city! Never sleeps!

I try my best English- Translation:

What a Swiss tourist usually does when he travels to New York for a week?
Of course:
He admires the city, go shopping, enjoy the States!

What makes a Swiss 370Z Entuhsiast also in New York?
Of course, he packs his big bags incl. the Headlights and goes to a great individual Headlights- Specialist and can fulfill his dream.

The way there and back from switzerland:
2 times sweating and customs upon entry.....

It does not matter!
The result is one and this is just perfect!

Thanks to Artem, Alex and her crew!
Great Job Guys

I'm planning on coming next week maybe. Since I go to school almost close by. However. . . How long does the process takes ? I use my car at least three times a week and will I have to drive without my headlights ?

It depends on what you're looking to get done but most jobs are done same day within 3-4 hours. Shoot me a private message with your plans

painting the housing has nothing to do with light out put at all so no they won't have a negative effect. if on the other hand you tint them then yes...

Magnetic Black?

I'm looking at doing my housings Nissan Magnetic Black. If I were to send you my door handles at the same time, would you be willing to spray/clear those as well? Cost?

Has anyone had their housings done magnetic black? Pics?

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks.
