It wouldn't be a few weeks. We will have the headlights for only a few days and ship them back. The shipping time there and back would be longer than the time we would be working on them

Hawk6, I can support the claim from 180 on how fast they get the lights back to you. I shipped them last Monday and by Thursday afternoon I had an invoice from them. I paid it that night and by Saturday morning I had my lights back! Granted I live within the 1-day ground shipping radius but its well worth the wait as the quality is first rate! As far as the process for taking the lights out, I relied on the DIY section of this forum and had zero issues. I'm a total amateur when it comes to this stuff but what I did to help was place each set of bolts into a slip lock bag and I marked the bumper bolts with A, B, C… and the light bolts with 1, 2, 3... I made a note of where each bag came from on paper and it took me about an hour to take them out and another hour to put everything back together.

I'll get some pics of the work 180 did for me, until then, I had the housing painted flat black, the shrouds painted mont. blue, and the dual orb LED lights installed.

I would like to get mine done just like this, but in matte black. Can I get a quote?

Looks nice!

I had my HL done in Tampa by a Custom Shop/Stereo Installer called Soundwaves, ask for Peter and tell him I sent you. Take a look at my pics for results.

ok i know i asked a while back on some pricing on a headlight setup but now i have a little extra money and i want to see what you can do for me. I would like to get flat black housing with gloss black shrouds with the single orb and landing strip with carbon fiber turn signal and red demon eyes. or same setup minus the landing strip to 78260. I would like to know rough price for shipping them to you and where you are located or if you pay for shipping that would be absolutely awesome! thank you for your time.

Thanks Alex, you guys did a great job! Sorry for the quality of the pics, they really don't do the lights any justice.

Those look AWESOME!

I wanna do much the same, but with Matte Black, and have the dimples filled in. What did you do with the side reflector, just blacked it out? That's the only area I'm over... Hmmm...

THANKS! And yes, the reflector was painted the same gloss black as the housing.

Hmm. Not sure what I wanna do with it, Here's what I'm thinking:

Matte Black Housing
Gloss Red Shrouds
Dual LED Halos
White LED Turn Bulb
Gloss Black Amber Reflector
Filled In Dimples
Red Double Demon Eye

If 180* can do demon eyes?

Sounds like a good plan. Post pics after you get it done.

Get rid of the reflector. It just looks better without it.

Does anyone have any updates available as to whether or not they have experienced condensation, leaks, blown lights etc.?

Very interested in this mod but concerned that on their initial post they state "NO MOISTURE/CONDENSATION AKA PERFECT SEAL" but then only give a 1 year warranty. If it is perfect seal why not warranty the item for greater than 1 year. Likewise on the lights. 6 months does not make me feel warm and fuzzy about product life - it sounds like there is a known issue about these. Is my question/statement inaccurate?

I raise this issue as I was discussing it with someone that works on my car and they said this is a well known issue and to avoid doing it.

Does anyone have any feedback about condensation and LED/ORB lights from '09, '10, '11

Note that these questions are not meant to disparage the work done by 180; their work is obviously aesthetically pleasing and from general comments people are thrilled. I am also not going down the road about price; I believe in paying for value so that is not the issue either. Just want to make sure that there is a realistic usuable life expectancy of the mod and that I won't end up having to buy new lights 366 days from time of install.

My guess is the reasoning that if something were to be wrong or defective, it's going to show itself inside that first year. And if you go a whole year with no problems, I doubt 2 days later it's just going to fall apart.

And with there being a 1 year warranty, I'm sure if you were to have a problem 1 month after that and gave them a call, they're not going to be assholes and tell you to

I'd LOVE to do this mod this winter for a Christmas present to myself, but I have the same sort of questions. I'm most concerned about 3 things:

1. Moisture build up / leaks over time. I hate this problem in other people's cars and do not want it in mine. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen?

2. This is my biggest worry. Paint pealing / cracking / chipping. In the past, it was well known that chrome and painting over it didn't go well together. So what's changed? Why should I now consider this a non-problem? I wish Nissan sold plain black parts before getting chromed, then this would be a non-issue for me.

3. Will the lights need to be adjusted in anyway upon reinstalling them, or are these lights non-adjustable? I just want to know this up front so I can move them back to the original spot if I have to.

Have any people who have done this years ago had any problems with items #1 and #2?

And can someone answer item #3.

Thanks in advance for your input---- Bonzo

Me. 2 years now. And not even the slightest hint of chipping or condensation.

And no, you don't have to adjust the headlights.
