GB: Carbonsignal Gauges

Ok guys here it is limited time GB

We have two kits one for base/nismo and touring Z

Kit ONE:
Comes with 7' screen, HDMI cable, rotary joystick, control module, and optional extra sensor ports 550$
OBDII reader with cable: 90$

Console comes in three finishes and design is simple but without airlift module as in DEMO pics its just the joystick by default.

Console FRP 175$
Console FRP painted matte black 200$
Console CF 450$
Console Wrapped in leather and alcantara additional 150-250$ on top of base price of 175$

Any other module needed installed in the console will be discussed and quoted case by case.

Everything working in the pics and video is only via OBDII, but for boosted guys following are optional sensors needed if any of these readings are needed, oil temp will come with sensor (free). There is a port for these below reading in the module so all what is needed is hooking up the sensors and two or three wires in the module.

I have a base. I just want the CF bezel to mount a tablet. I don't want any holes for the joy stick or air suspension controls. How much for just that.

Can you post pics of the how the screen mounts to the bezel from behind?

Console is made only for this screen and people will get screen mounted.

For other things please pm us and we can discuss if we can do customization for tablet or not.

I'm in for kit 2 with obd2 reader and cable

andy_meng1024 09-03-2015 12:46 AM

As module output currently is HDMI only and in Z it's AV so we will prepare it once GB finishes. It should be exactly same just need to run it will have to go to on aux output

AntiVenom 09-03-2015 05:09 AM

Any photos of the other finishes? I love CF but would prefer to look as oem as possible.

edit: also, how many optional sensors can be added?

jcosta79 09-03-2015 06:18 AM

Just saw the video and it looks awesome. I assume one can change the temperature readings from C to F? Also, are all the readings in the video taken from the OBDII port? If so, does it have to plug into the port from the normal location under the dash? Can you show us any pictures of how this looks like? Any install pics so we know how difficult a process this will be to install?

Thanks. Very interested.

Venom13132 09-03-2015 07:28 AM

interested in option 2. How does it hook up and work with the stock Nav?

valpozguy 09-03-2015 09:00 AM

Can you elaborate on the software that kit one comes with? Would I need anything else other than kit one and the console to get this up and running in my base? Very interested, thanks.

Install info would be very helpful as well, it's this something I can do in my garage with simple tools?

Wiggins3377 09-03-2015 09:11 AM

I think you need to add another $175 for the base FRP panel.

Looks sweet. I want one but would have to relocate my boost controller

Lt8Che 09-03-2015 10:46 AM

These look amazing! Have you guys done any applications for the G37?

FLUJOKE 09-03-2015 11:00 AM

So I have Navi is the outright price total 450 for CF AND 90 for the cord and that's it? Or is there additional charges. Just a lil confused. Im interested in option 2. Thank you!

Question

So I have an armytrix exhuast system that requires me to plug into the OBD2 port. Is there a way to have both of the OBD2 modules plug in?

nismo13807 09-03-2015 05:20 PM

question.. for the AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) Wideband Controller Functionality.. is that just to read afr for bank 1 and 2 or u can adjust it with that option? and for oil pressure .. how much psi it reads up to? also can we arrange the gauges in the order we want?

nismo 1234 09-05-2015 12:18 PM

Interested in option 2 with all sensor except wideband ans boost.

What brand are the sensors? Any warranty?
Where do you guys plan on mounting the controls for the navi option.

jsutton2 09-06-2015 02:17 AM

Kit 1:
$550 - 7" Screen Setup
$90 - OBDII
$150-250 Leather, silver stitching (Does this match our interior?)
$18 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor (Doesn't the ODBII already do this?)

I use PLX Kiwi with Dash Command now, and I get Intake Air Temp from it, so is the $18 sensor needed with kit 1?

I'd like to see a leather wrapped screen setup, any pics?

Is the Carbon Signal badge above the rotary dial optional?

I'm defiantly in.

CarbonSignal 09-07-2015 08:50 AM

Answer to F or C temp yes will be offered in both

Yes connects via a cable to OBDII under the dash

Installation pictures dont have as had one demo car and its installed but items will come with installation instructions.

The piece we have made bolts on same place as stock one so its easy install and screen comes already mounted.

There is a module which need small wiring job for power and have to connet the provided cable to hook to OBDII port

Yes included.

For AFR, there is always reading from both bank, if needed to add aftermarket you should know there are two sensors needed, if already has any aftermarket that one can be hooked to the screen module so no need for AFR wideband

Where do you guys plan on mounting the controls for the navi option.

Just check if you really need all sensors and pm me with details and email address

You need to find a place yourself to mount the joystick its a small piece can be placed anywhere with a small hole.

Warranty is for one year, with return shipping covered.

all the readings as in the pics are form OBDII, only pressure ones arent there, but we offer more incase anyone wants to add aftermarket ones.

You should be able to read from your PLXI

Carbonsignal badge is there in all consoles by default.

Leather wrapped as said will be posted once anyone order it, we dont have it ready at the moment.

No you wont loose any.

You might need to disable the handbrake signal as video option stops working once car is moving so need to disable that to make module signals work in moving car, easy job.

Please for all interested write your name below and pm us email address along with all options needed. We will be shipping these in the order these are paid for.

Kit will go on AUX so it's like switching from AUX we tried in G but haven't got hold of Z yet. You might need to delete the brake wire

AntiVenom 09-07-2015 04:52 PM

Thanks for the response to all the questions. I have a few things I am still not clear on...

Can you arrange the screens to display only the outputs you want (e.g. Can I have a screen with: boost, oil pressure, fuel pressure and AFR) or are the in a predetermined layout that cannot be changed by the end user?

Can you plug anything in to the HDMI and have it displayed on the screen?

Will the matte black FRP match the interior (more or less)?

What's the cost of the oil pressure sensor?

Thanks!

Carbon_z 09-07-2015 05:21 PM

I am 100% sure I will spend 30 minutes playing with it once its installed lol.

Venom13132 09-08-2015 06:10 AM

I have not used the AV inputs in my car yet with the stock nav.
So when you switch to the video screen to use this, with stock nav you wont be able to listen to music just due to how the stock system is setup?
