It's short by about 5 mm, by design according to Fly1. The big issue I had was that it was too narrow. The cap did not align with the ridges on both sides towards the back. Because of this, the cap did not sit flush at the corners. Post if you have the same issue after install.

Installed my roof cap today and it fit very well. The antenna cover is another story, terrible fit. It's going to find itself a home somewhere else besides my car.
