Hey, I notice this high pitched sound coming from the engine bay when I switched to the berk HFC's

I spoke to a bloke from the states with the same set up as mine. He said its always there however you can notice it more with HFC's

Do you know where the noise is coming from? Some of the cars have a problem with noise from the ECU, it will sound like it's coming from the glove box area. I thought there was a US TSB for it but I can't seem to find it now. Not that it will be respected in OZ but it definitely helps prove the problem exists.

BGTV8 - if you go to the main forum and search high frequency noise you'll pick up a lot of threads on it. There's a 10kHz noise from the ECU that can send people crazy... some who have lost high frequency hearing can't hear it.

Chris - yeah I've searched for the TSB but can't find it... =( what a pain... the dickhead service advisor thought I was an idiot when I said that not everyone, esp old people can hear it...

This will be good news for us esp Tyson:

Our cars have a countermeasure in for the ECU noise per my service manager who has contacted Nissan Technical.

The noise i'm hearing is either the ECU but i have damn sensitive hearing or the fuel pump... still drives me crazy but it's no where near as bad as what's been happening to the US folk.
