I nearly went the roadster (again) but some of the harsher members of this forum bullied and taunted me into scrapping that idea.

No names mentioned, but (Gtrfan, Evse82, Lord Kain) you know who you are!

ROFL

but seriously... with the great ocean road and great alpine road at your doorstep... I'd forgive any Victorian with the convertible... and seriously with the top down it looks better than a coupe... it's just that with me in it i must keep the top up =P

I had a grin as wide as my head the time I was on the great ocean road with the polo gti... (when during off season with barely any traffic) if were with my z i'd rip my cheeks grinning...

I do miss driving with the top down but my decision was based on a $77k budget and a few debts of about 4k.

So it was either:
- Roadster for about $73k, debts paid, no mods.
- Coupe MT6 for $64k, debts paid, $9K for mods.

I went for the latter cause there are soon going to be A LOT more 370Zs on the road and I want to have some individualism.

It was still a hard decision but basically, if I had the cash for the roadster, debts paid AND mods, I would've gotten a Quartz Roadster.

I honestly think it's a BS myth that states should be different in price.

I'm going to start a 370Z journal thread over the next few days and I'm
gonna include a scan of my invoice.

This way everyone can print it and show their dealers!!

Fair is fair i think!

well i think it's bs as i'm in the state that drew the short straw... I know some of our state duties are higher but still we're talking a sizable difference here... look forward to the thread.

Oh yeah don't get me wrong I got over 10% off the list price so i was happy but yeah... you guys are smashing your dealerships down there...
