370z's make really s*#t boats...

RACV are fantastic! They only deducted my excess, diff of insurance policy (as I paid monthly) and diff of rego (which for me was due in April). Now 77K richer

Now 77K richer and time to go and break some balls and get a good price on a new Z!

Awesome! You will be able to get a genuine 2010 Coupe AND a set of 19" for all of us for that!

How much do you think our 2009's are worth now to sell?

Nah. I bought a MT6 quartz. Details in pricing thread.

Btw, the paranoia you caused me about my claim actually paid off. It made it accept that I might not get paid out....

... Then BANG!!

I got paid out

Great, I can't wait to see the colour in person.

Also if you accept the worst, things can only get better. As it stands, if they replaced your engine, you still have a Z, but now you get a new one.

Who's running bets on how long it takes to replace this one

Nah. I decided on a Coupe MT6.

The Roadster just didn't 'click' as well as the coupe did...

Hi guys. A bit of interesting information.

RACV just called me about if I had a spare key for the hydrolocked Z as it just sold at the auction.

I enquires the sale price and she said: $33,250!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a new engine is about $20,000 right?

Do you think $33,250 was a steal or a mistake??

I'm curious for feedback.

That's what I thought....

I shouldve bought it as I had the chance too but it would have put me out with the new purchase.

Oh well...

The thing is, would they have been able to offer you the wreck/salvage?

Some of the mainstream insurance dont do this. I know Shannons offers this.
