Touch up paint

Hey guys,

just wondering if you guys got touch up paint with your zed...

I didn't =/, anyway does anyone know where to get the pearl white (QAB) touch up paint? The parts places in sydney don't seem to have it.

or if you'd like to charge me 5 bucks for me to use about 3ml that's fine as well, let me know =)

I didnt either.

Go to Autobarn and they will make you up a tin. Only $10 I think....

They will ask you for your paint code. I think the code is near the Nissan built plate.

Then buy a thin brush and dab it onto the affected areas. Dont use too much, or it will stand out and look awful!

negative, didn't get any. i would suggest buying from forum vendors, such as fusz nissan.

I need to get some as I have a few chips on my front paintwork now. I'll be getting it from Nissan though as I have an unusual paint colour and want it to match.

i got some from nissan spare parts.......u get 2 containers, a white base coat and a clear coat thing to make it look like pearl...........doesnt match too well tho :s..........thing was about 20bux for both.

I just tried to order it from Nissan AU but they said only the non-metalic colours are available. Dammit.

Even the courtesy parts site doesn't stock our colour as it's only available in a few countries. I haven't emailed them yet though...

Maybe we should look into the UK market, the USA will be a waste of time. Our colour is Jap, UK, and Aus only I think.

I found this site, it has both titanium metallic and white pearl.

Though, I haven't ordered any so I can't say whether it really matches or not

Just an update guys,

I went to JDS Smash in sydney for my touch up paint, the matching is ok, you get a base colour and a pearl finish. they don't have air tight containers so you have to find them yourself afterwards... it was about 20 bucks for 100ml of each. I went to JDS cause they were the ones that did the colour on my parking sensors and it was fine.

someone whacked a trolley into my yellow z, and i want to know where i should get some touch up paint. nissan dealer said they dont carry any for the yellow, and i figure if i get some mixed up i wont get any clear coat...?

advice?
