Well are you planning on having it in the dash or somewhere else (in glove box etc)? If in the dash which is likely... then it's gonna be a problem. The aircon etc are part of the actual dash so unless you get a full insert to take that into account you are a little screwed. In the states the base model which doesn't have nav has the basic setup with a double din space (just like our 350z's had here)

I had a dvd 7" screen in my 350z but I wouldnt bother swapping this one out. Only thing I'm doing with my 370, is putting in my amp and subs (I've done all the wiring just gonna hook up the amp tonight)

Was there any particular reason you wanted a different head unit?

not really anything in particular, was looking at the w505, just trying to make the cockpit look nicer, and to play around with it. the stock bose is more than enough for me. theres no way i could fit a double din unit in there? (in dash)

I have an Alpine W505 in mine. But my car didn't have Nav in it so my head unit was already a double din sized unit.

Nah sorry mate, unfortunately (well not really) the Aussie ones come only with Nav so no other head units can go in... I'd prefer the nav anyway, coming from the 7" screen in the 350z, I always remember looking at the Jap ones which had nav and thinking they looked so much neater.

If you want better sound do what I just did (just finished it now lol) added an amp and subs to the stock bose... sounds great.
