Default Spare tire removal for audio install

Anyone know if the spare tire has a TPMS in it that's going to kick on a warning light on the dash if I remove it. If so is there a way to disable it?

Easy way to find out- take the tire out and drive around the block. No TPMS - no problem.

I have never heard of a warning light from the tire being removed. Also never heard of one having a tire pressure sensor in it. the install in Cali I did when we broke for lunch we loaded the rest of the interior pieces in the trunk that was also torn apart and drove around never had any lights. The only lights you will have to worry about are your air bag lights make sure to disconnect the positive and or negative battery terminal before starting your install. Also after the install he decided not to even keep the spare in the car and put it in the closet.

i pressured up my spare last night while putting my car back together. there is no RF valve on it so the answer is no TPMS.

from a safety standpoint they should put TPMS for the spare...
9 times out of 10 most people's spares are totally under inflated.
(should be at 60psi).
