I've used the V1 for years on my sport bike, as well as in my car.
It's paid for itself many times over. I like the fact that the V1 is upgradable when new radar tech becomes available at Valentine, and I like the directional arrows that tell me where the radar hit is coming from. It also has laser detection* Granted, if you're the only car on the road and there's a cop with laser, you're pretty much toast…but, if there are others on the road, your V1 will at least let you know when it gets a laser hit so you know to be on your toes.
