Double din LCD screen or multi-line display

Not to throw a wrench in your plans, but I'd look at something like a Pioneer X4500BT for $250-300. 7" screen and feature rich. Out of the two you proposed,

Not to throw a wrench in your plans, but I'd look at something like a Pioneer X4500BT for $250-300. 7" screen and feature rich.

Out of the two you proposed, I prefer the Kenwood.

Wony a 7'' require modifications to fit? The regular 6.1/6.2 " screens just "drop in".

That may well be correct. The dash kits are pretty inexpensive; however, and can be had with antenna adapter and wiring harness.
