Can I tap off the Bose power supply? If not I am going to put the RE-Q5 with the amp anyway under the sub there is lots of power there I can run off my distribution block. All I need then is two wires off the sub channel for now, got a wicked sub upgrade for under $1000CAD dollars sweet!

You can do that but the wire for turning on and off the mtx needs to shut off so you can use the bose amp wire for that but the constant use a new one.

You can install a JL clean sweep, tap into the sub wires for a MTX RE-Q for your sub, or use the speaker wire codes to cut them from the bose system and hook up a aftermarket crossover for your new speakers. "makes sure to disconnect the factory one that is in the door or before the wires enter the door" I am still working the rest out so please give me some time. Enjoy! I have not yet figured out what the L stands for what color so bare with me on that note as well.

This is the main harness that comes out of your bose amp. Also from what I have seen the wiring is exactly the same for the bose model with nav

You can grab the signal wires going into the harness of the bose sub, I believe they are purple and light blue, run them into a RCA end and plug directly into your new amp.
