Yes the clock spring houses all the wires for the switches/airbag/horn/lights on the steering wheel. If the lights are going off and on when you turn the wheel then that's

Yes the clock spring houses all the wires for the switches/airbag/horn/lights on the steering wheel. If the lights are going off and on when you turn the wheel then that's a good sign that a wire in the clock spring is possibly in the process of breaking, has a bad connection.
