i know what you are trying to do and there is one more problem.
even if you "create" one in the back as i had planned on doing you still will not be able to switch to AUX mode. the HU detects when a cable is inserted and will allow you to switch. i discovered this by accidentally unplugging it while in AUX mode and it switched to the radio and i could not change it back to AUX until i reinserted the cable. ive decided to just get an after market HU and at the same time put in some rear speakers while im at it
