I have speakers mounted back there, but I think a sub is out of the question size wise. You will probably have to have a trunk mount made. I recommend either Alpine or Kenwoods.
Lolz.

I have bought small sealed boxes from a local brick and mortar for $40. If they are wanting any more than that for that small of a box I would go somewhere else. You cant go wrong with a Kicker sub especially for the price. I would have one over Pioneer any day of the week and only an excelon series Kenwood. This is just personal opinion of course.
Sonic Electronix is good I ordered my T1 from them and it was positive all the way around.

UPDATE:
got the amp installed, bought a JL W3v3 8" subwoofer. still breaking in the sub, so i have the amp gain set low. so far i am amazed. this sub is perfect. sounds crystal clear and hits incredible lows. im not into extreme bass, so i just wanted some low end kick to make the factory radio less annoying. and i was only hoping to be able to cruise at highway speeds with the windows down and still get the full range of sound from the radio. this set up exceeded my expectations!

I just went the same route except I went with the JL CP106LG-W3v3. It's just enough for me.

For the most part that is true, especially in a car (the worst possible audio environment imaginable), but multiple low end drivers can set up standing waves if one is not careful. Probably not a big concern for most ppl, but it's why I recommend only one sub-woofer.
But, as with everything else about audio, it's what sounds good to you.

To the forum in general, it's usually very easy to phase bass drivers. Just do an A-B comparison by swapping the wires to one of the drivers. When out of phase, there will be a very noticeable "muddy", muted sound. This works best if you can set the drivers side-by-side and stand directly in front of (or behind if there are no enclosures) them.

more precisely, cancellation issues, not standing waves. highly unlikely to create standing waves at sub frequencies. the wavelengths ar far too long.
1126 fps speed of sound 60hz tone= 18.76 ft wave.
higher freq. is where you may run into issues with standing waves as well as Inside your sub box. for a standing wave you need to have 2 paralell surfaces reflecting that wave at each other.

after hearing what the 8" can do, i would imagine the 6.5" is just as impressive.

Does anyone know if the CP108LG-W3v3 will fit behind the drivers seat? It looks like the length is really close with the contours of that space.
