Amp advice

90 ST and BAF, Thanks for the suggestions. I'm thinking about putting the amp in with the cover area where it stows when the top is down. There is actually a lot of room in there and I think that's where the current amp is. If I go with the polk speakers up front, is there any issue going with the kickers in the back? I'm thinking that the back speakers are little more than filler anyways. Also, if I go with a 5 channel, is there any issues with going with four 2 ohm speakers and one 4 ohm sub?

I know enough to get myself into trouble, but am really looking forward to learning more on this project. Thanks for the help

No issues with going with different brands. Where are you getting 2 ohm speakers from? The polks and kickers are 4 ohms. A 4 ohm sub will be good as well. I happen to have worked on a convertible Z. If you pull up your trunk floor, their is a nice opening for an amp to sit. Might want to look into that.
