I have a x940bt, bigaudiofanet help me with my wiring, the mute pin bypass worked great. I did not use the speed wire, the gps seem to be working alright.

I have a x940bt, bigaudiofanet help me with my wiring, the mute pin bypass worked great. I did not use the speed wire, the gps seem to be working alright. However I am at a small town, there are usually directly view to the sky. check out avic411.com as well, great site for pioneer head units. There are a few discussion on the speed wire as well.
