Default Ground wire?

I am wiring up my aftermarket head unit and the wire harness I got doesn't have a ground wire on it... is the ground wire attached to the back of the stock radio or what?

What head unit is it? And, what brand harness? I recommend Scosche, that is very odd that the harness has no black ground wire.

Nissan usually doesn't have a ground in the harness since factory nissan radios ground through the antenna. There will be a large metal tube running behind that pocket above the radio. Ground there

He is talking about the harness that the head unit harness wires up to.

OP, there are 4 bolts surrounding the shift knob, use one of them. Never had a problem with that area.

They actually ground through the metal chassis the head unit sits in, where the screws hold the chassis in place.

Would not grounding cause radio interference? (As if the station is going out of range)??
