Question, if you get a base model, can you later down the road install the OEM nav system yourself?? It seems like you can't cause the base model has the radio on the bottom as opposed to the touring. If you would try to install it in the "pocket", you would be left with two radios. Unless if you change the whole center console, which could get pricey.

That's correct. The Touring edition only insures you of the leather trim. Sport and Navigation are extra on top of the touring.

Nope... No in-dash display at all. When I got in the car, I was very confused since it had leather seats but no display (just the standard base door). I'll be going back, and I'll take pics if I remember and they still have that car sitting there.

The touring only gives you leather + etc. NO NAV. If you want Nav you have to pay for that option, otherwise you get a hole with a flap.

I think you're referencing how the g37 coupe for 09 came with a screen, but no nav as standard. But the 370z only comes with a screen when you get touring and add nav, otherwise you only get the cubbyhole for non-nav touring and all base models. If you want the factory nav, then you have to get the touring + nav, but if you want to replace your audio components and get a double-din in-dash unit you should opt for the base model as the touring non-nav requires a lot more headache to add components like subwoofers, etc. I asked some ppl with nav and sometimes they wish they had the cubbyhole because the glovebox on the car is so damn small and the only other place to put stuff is behind passenger seat which is also very small.

Any idea if the 2010 Navigation will take a backup / rear camera without any software hacks? I have heard that they can from another thread but there seems to be a big range in camera prices for it (from $49 to $849) wondering what I really need to make it happen.
