Unfortunately, I had to pull the head unit again and when I re-installed it, the light came back on. I tried dozens of times to do the reset but it didn't work. Also, even if I got it to go out I was going to be installing an aftermarket seat and knew it would come back on again. That's when I said screw it and pulled the led.
I installed Sparcos in mine, and ordered an air bag emulator from www.airbag360.com . Plugs right into the seat occupancy sensor. The connectors are fragile so be gentle with it but I've had no complaints - or air bag lights.

I purchased this as well. Have been through this reset at least 10 times. I can not get the light to stay off.
