One more quick question. I've been doing research on all the how to's for the HU install. And a majority of them are with a full system... So my question being.

If I install a double din head unit that's just for music and dvd capability will the stock wires hook up to the unit? Or do I need adapters? I see crazy harness splicing going on and I'm not sure if that needs to be done for an install without all the new speakers and amp etc.

So with a basic music/dvd install. What extra wiring do I need? This unit for example.

Amazon.com: New Double Din 7 Inch Touchscreen Tft Lcd Monitor Dvd Cd Mp3 Player Usb Ipod Avhp4300dvd by Pioneer: Home & Garden

EDIT:: Just wanted to clarify this would be the pioneer head unit with stock speakers etc.

Yes if you do just a head unit with a base system it will be fine if you do it with the bose system you will need a special adapter but sill still run the bose amp and speakers.
