Hi all,
I got my Pioneer AVIC Z120BT from crutchfield yesterday and I've spent almost all night soldering up the wiring harnesses per the instructions/manual. I haven't taken apart my dash yet to see what it looks like in there. I've pretty much read the tear down instructions a hundred times, so hopefully it will go smoothly when I do it tomorrow. Hopefully the wiring harness (pic) crutchfield sent me is the correct one -- I'm pretty sure it is. I also did the parking brake bypass per the instructions from the AVIC411 forum/youtube. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is where the CAR SPEED SIGNAL INPUT and the REVERSE GEAR SIGNAL INPUT (see pic below) need to go. There's also a wire labeled SYSTEM REMOTE CONTROL on the avic harness that I haven't figured out where to hook it to as well. Anyone who's had experience installing the avic who can give me some pointers, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks much! ![]() Wiring harness all soldered up; parking brake bypass done. ![]() Car speed signal input? Reverse gear signal input? Where do these attach to? |
