Default Kick panels for 6.5" speakers, and Polk 8" subwoofers

Its about time I start thinkina bout taking my system to the next level. I've already dynomatted and installed very good old-school German made MB quart speakers for the doors, and tweeters for the dash. The speakers are being powered by an even older school SoundStream MC140x, which is a 4 channel who is bridged down supplying clean high-biased Class-A / AB wattage of about 90w RMS to each speaker. It sounds amazingly awsome, better than any other Z I've heard thus far.

I want to get another set of MBQuart 6.5s, but this time I'd like to put the second set into the kick-panel locations. Has anyone made or seen this done on a 370z? If I get a second set of 6.5" speakers, I'll probably sell the Soundstream MC140x if I cannot get it to run the 4 speakers with stability and get either an old-school MC300 or some other amp using TIP102/107 darlington output transistors.

The second thing I'm going to do is create a new/second subwoofer box. I'm kind of tired of my tiresome 10" pioneer flat piston and wold like to go with two 8" Polk Audio MM580 subwoofers as they seem to be the best bang for the buck for an 8" woofer. Has anyone run these for electronic and techno music? I heard four of them in an suv and it sounded amazing.

The subs will be powered by the same Zed-Audio built old school Hifonics Thor amplifier, which is conservatively rated for 125w x 2, and is an awsome SQ Class AB cheater amplifier - This is one of the great units where "they dont make them like they used to" come into play. Wiring the subs to 2 ohms, and loading each amp channel at 2 ohms, should give a conservative 200wRMS to each sub. This amp is likely 40% underrated so the power would more likely be 300wRMS of SQ quality. All within rating of the sub.

Any thoughts?
