The Kenwood 7140, I wanted it!

Just a tip for others. If there is room under your dash near the top you don't have to mount your XM or NAV antenna on the dash. Put it

Just a tip for others. If there is room under your dash near the top you don't have to mount your XM or NAV antenna on the dash. Put it under the dash facing up. On the 350z, I mounted my 5140 NAV antenna right under the middle console gauges. There is a space between the beam, and wire harness and it fit perfect in that spot. Full bars on the signal and it's concealed.

As long as there is no metal between it and the sky the antenna will pass plastic without any problems.

Thanks for the tip. When you say face up do you mean the same way it would be facing if it were on the dash?
