You could very well do this. I have done it in a challenger I did a install on which the battery was in the trunk as well. I would recommend

You could very well do this. I have done it in a challenger I did a install on which the battery was in the trunk as well. I would recommend upgrading the ground wire from the battery to ground if you can sort of what I did for a bmw I did a install on. This will help a big for the power demand. When I say upgrade the stock should be something like 4 gauge and you may want to upgrade to 0 gauge. Although you are not pulling a huge amount of power. Nice car btw
