If it's a short transmission line length, the Fs of the woofer needs to go up. If the transmission line is 1-2 feet though, the resonant frequency shouldn't be any higher than 200-300Hz, however. And yes, I agree - Bose = pure marketing magic. I doubt you'd wanna test out the woofer (or speaks) - it just might scare you.
