Brax Mid-bass speakers

I am inquirying about your experience with Brax Matrix 6.1 mid-bass speakers.
This is only the mid-bass part of a component speaker (i.e. no tweater).

Are they overrated for the price?
How do they sound compared to other brands?

I haven't heard a set personally but from what I do hear they are well built, precise drivers. What are your plans for them? an active set up? what tweeter?

Excellent drivers, regardless of cost. I must ask though, why would you dismiss the tweeter ?

I listen to the Brax tweaters and they are very good at reproducing the highs...but are very expensive. The car I listen to which had these tweaters has a different brand mid-bass. All the cross-overs were done via a fiber optic processor. You could hear the left,center,right, even though it had the tweaters & mid-bass in the front doors without any center speaker.
