Backup camera cmos300 trouble shooting

Interesting, I am having the same problem with my camera. It sure would be great if it was that simple to fix, especially since that would mean I don't need

Interesting, I am having the same problem with my camera. It sure would be great if it was that simple to fix, especially since that would mean I don't need to pull the dash apart... again

As for the ipod, he is probably right. But I have noticed with mine if it's already plugged in I just hear noise, I have to plug it in after the radio is on and it works fine. Sounds like that might be a different issue though. I haven't updated the software yet either though.

What exact camera problem are you having? The reseting issue or the not being able to select the CMOS 300? If it's the reseting issue, upgrade the firmware it fixed that for me but they changed the volume control with that update so you can't hold the volume button to change volume, you have to click it once for every volume change. Kinda sucks but it fixed the reset issue.
If you can't get the head unit to recognize the camera, it either isn't hooked up properly, or you need to follow my instructions on the previous page to recognize the camera.
