What was the final outcome of this? Did it take awhile for them to get the parts?

I think my factory Bose unit is having this same problem.

The other day I noticed it flickering and last night I couldn't read the display at all. Even after turning it on/off and tinkering with the display brightness. This morning It was back to normal??
