https://docs.google.com/document/pub...dJDtKoKnP54Qfs Based on what I'm hearing what I could provide is a plug and play harness to achieve the same results but with NO cutting or tampering with any original wiring. The dilemma is that although the parts aren't that expensive the harnesses are very time consuming to make. I therefore need to to think about the price and get a sense of if people would be interested. |

As far as the bypass kit is concerned....I think the remote is the best option. You can just store it in the glove box or center console, and then you or your passenger can control the settings. It would be like a movable switch console and you don't have to change the interior.
I would be down for a kit using a remote (like the one you made for the GTR). I don't want to add any switches to the interior, and already have the foglight switch in the center console between the seat heaters. |

Perhaps there could be two options? One system with a switch and one with a remote! I personally do not like the idea of having to look for a remote to engage the NAV bypass or turn on the camera. Switch is better for me...

I know the NAV bypass allows you to enter destinations while driving...is the NAV bypass also what allows you to play dvds while driving? Or is that something else? If so, than a 3rd button would be required.

![]() Just for clarification: the bypass for the camera is just to keep the camera on at all times (use like a rearview mirror), but when put in reverse, the back-up camera will always come on automatically still. Is this correct? Last edited by PW370z; 12-01-2010 at 09:34 AM. |
