It's possible that the stereo system senses an audio signal of some sort from your iPhone/Pod and therefore is still active and/or is still receiving power to the Bose amp.

It's possible that the stereo system senses an audio signal of some sort from your iPhone/Pod and therefore is still active and/or is still receiving power to the Bose amp. Either that...or maybe the Bose amp always has a little current flowing to it even when the car is OFF.
