Default Aux-In Issues

I picked up a 2010 370Z Touring which obviously has Bose and have been having a small issue with the auxillary input. It works perfectly when you have the audio system on, no complaints. However, when the audio system is turned off but the iPod (or any device plugged) is still playing music, you can still hear it coming very very faintly through the speakers. This is not only when the car is running, in accessory mode, or in the on position, but also when the car is off.

Has anyone else noticed this problem on their Z? I searched around but I could not find much on this problem and although I would normally not really care, I has been bugging me a bit lately.

It's possible that the stereo system senses an audio signal of some sort from your iPhone/Pod and therefore is still active and/or is still receiving power to the Bose amp. Either that...or maybe the Bose amp always has a little current flowing to it even when the car is OFF.

It is really weird, it is very faint and only coming through the dash speakers. I guess I will go to the dealer and see what they have to say. I am also missing some tools from the trunk so that will be a nice trip I don't want to make.
