Sub and Amp setup for $500, suggestions?

Seriously - looks aside - it will be hard to beat one single really good quality sub + amp... If you have your mind made up on the 2 10s

Seriously - looks aside - it will be hard to beat one single really good quality sub + amp... If you have your mind made up on the 2 10s then I would think to get the same sound / quality of a single sub /amp setup that should cost about 500 would end up being a couple hundred more. Matt (BigA) should be the best person to point you in the right direction.
