What area are you speaking of when you ask about the boot? Does that equate to our trunk? I always thought it was the front. If it is the rear that you're talking about, yes, I think it's worth it. The noise dropped drastically when I did mine. I used to hear every little rock that I hit and now I don't even notice it.
